Perhaps you are looking to introduce your kids to the slopes for the very first time, or maybe your youngsters are already confident on the snow and ready to improve their skills. When it comes to on-the-snow education, Park City Mountain Resort has a great range of signature programs for kids to suit your family’s needs, allowing your children to learn in an environment that’s safe, attentive, and fun!
Young Children
For young children, the Kids Signature 3 Ski program is aimed at children ages 3 to 5. Featuring a child-specialist instructor and a maximum of three students per instructor, the focus here is on mixing ski instruction with additional fun activities, all within an environment which provides maximum personal attention and instruction for your child. Each Signature 3 Ski class is a 6-hour all day course, consisting of two 75-minute sessions of ski-instruction, with an instructor present at all times.
The resort also runs a Signature 3 Superstars program. This has been designed for young skiers aged 4 to 6 years who are skilled enough to move beyond the Signature 3 program, but may not be ready to move up to the next level just yet. The skiing time during this class is increased to two 120-minute sessions and allows your child to experience more advanced terrain, while still providing them with a place to rest and play when they need a break. The price of the Signature 3 Superstars program ranges from $215 for a full day to $1,075 for five days during the regular season and $230 for a full day to $1,150 for five days during the holiday season.
There is also a Signature 3 Snowboard program available for 5- and 6-year-olds. This is designed for children participating for the very first time and featuring class sizes no larger then three and follows a similar format to the other Signature 3 programs. Here, your children can learn the basics of snowboarding during two 120-minute sessions, with the focus always on safety and fun. The cost for this is the same as the Signature 3 Superstars program.
Older Children
For older children aged 6 to 14, the Kids Signature 5 program also offers supervised class sizes of less than 5 students. Your child will be provided with specialized instruction, no matter what level of skill or experience they currently have. Lunch is also provided at one of the on-mountain restaurants of their choice. Prices for this program range from $230 for a full day to $1,150 for 5 days during the regular season and $245 for one day to $1,225 for 5 days during the holiday season.
Indoor Activities
There are also indoor activities available, such as a craft area and a jungle-gym to provide your child with a fun environment when ski instruction is not taking place. The cost of the Kids Signature 3 Ski program ranges from $180 for one full day to $900 for five days during the regular season and $185 for one full day to $925 for five days during the holiday season.
