Where to Stay in New York City

New York City is the largest city in North America and with it, there are more hotels here than anywhere else throughout the continent. While this gives you an over abundance of choices, you might not know exactly what to select and what hotels stand above the rest. While there are literally dozens of fine options spread throughout New York, only a few are able to rank in the top tier of accommodations.

St Regis, New York

One of the oldest continually running hotels, construction finished on the St. Regis in 1904 (although numerous renovations have taken place throughout the years). The craftsmanship and styling of the rooms are fit for a king, and even the morning favorite Bloody Marry cocktail came to existence in this very location. Plus, you know you are in a high-quality establishment when every floor is stationed with a 24 hour butler on call and ready at a moment’s notice.

Ritz-Carlton, Central Park

The Ritz Carlton is famous throughout the world, and this 33-story hotel is unlike anything you have ever seen before. The Ritz-Carlton presents a more open air, almost New England feeling to it. All of the 259 different rooms are done up with a pale rose tone, and you receive the highest end Frederic Fekkai amenities. Plus, you are going to have access to the Star Lounge, which is one-of-a-kind and unlike anything else you are going to experience during your time in New York.

Trump International Hotel and Tower, Columbus Circle

Built by Donald Trump, this hotel has some of the very best views of Central Park. Every single room feels like an elegant condo, and it is designed to make you feel like present-day royalty. Additionally, there are personal trainers on hand at the gym to work you into shape and professionals who can stock your mini fridge to ensure everything is exactly to your liking, regardless of the kind of foods and beverages you typically enjoy.

Mandarin Oriental, Central Park

Located next to the Trump International Hotel and Tower, the Mandarin Oriental has been around since 2003 and is found on the southwest corner of Central Park. For anyone who has never been to or stayed in a Mandarin Oriental property before, the theme is starkly decorated in an Asian inspired decor, yet provides a bold look to every single room. Plus, there is a 14,500 square foot spa with a 75-foot long pool, all designed to provide you with the very best comfort in all of New York.

NoMad Hotel, Manhattan's Herald Square

Another historic hotel that has been around since 1903, this 28-floor building features truly beautiful design elements that brings a simple, yet sophisticated look to the rooms. With the slight combination of Middle Eastern elegance, the NoMad combines an interesting aesthetic with the historic look of an old 1903 building.
