With so many things to do and places to see, there is no reason why the entire family wouldn’t have a blast vacationing in Las Vegas, Nevada. Since the family attractions in Las Vegas are endless, it’s a good idea to stop at the Visitor’s Bureau and pick up maps, discount and coupon books, and basic information brochures for vacationing families. Besides the popular major attractions, there are also many things to do here that are in expensive or free. The Hard Rock Café and Hotel is home to an amazing free-admission Rock-n-Roll museum, which is a must-see for the musician in the family.

The Rio Hotel offers free astonishing masquerade sky shows in the afternoon and evenings, and Caesars Palace has a 50,000 gallon salt water tank that will mesmerize the entire family for hours. The Ethel M Chocolate Factory Tour is off the Strip but offers a free tour, and they hand out samples of chocolate. For a breathtaking sight, be sure to view the spectacular nighttime water show in front of the Bellagio Hotel.

There are plenty of kid-friendly places to eat, including the basic fast food restaurants. However, there’s a few eateries that every family will want to try. The Rainforest Cafe is located at the MGM Grand Hotel and is situated among lush banyan trees, cascading waterfalls and a 10,000 gallon aquarium. The food is yummy here, and they serve everything from fish tacos to burgers to lasagna.

Zoozacrackers is a great deli-restaurant for the family that loves sports. There’s TVs embedded in the beamed ceilings, and the deli is a favorite of the legendary Bronco quarterback, John Elway. The food is scrumptious and the homemade pickles and cookies seem to keep people coming back for more. The Jean-Philippe Patisserie café is positioned in the Bellagio Hotel and is the chocolate lover’s paradise. Their crepes, salads and baguette sandwiches are absolutely incredible.
